Along his journey as a human being, Nick King has cultivated a dynamic clinical career across a wide range of settings—from innovative mental health start-ups to intensive residential treatment centers. With a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Regis College and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Oregon, Nick brings a uniquely integrative lens to his work. He sees each person as part of a deeply interconnected system—biological, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual—that must find harmony to truly thrive.

Through Nick's clinical experience, it became clear that navigating major life transitions, including the leap from high school to college, were obstacles that often left clients feeling overwhelmed and under-supported. He likens these transitional moments to phase changes in physics—when a substance transforms from one state to another, such as ice melting into water. These shifts require energy, restabilization, and internal reorganization. The college transition mirrors this exactly: identities are reshaped, relationships recalibrate, and emotional structures are rebuilt.

Driven by a desire to meet this need, Nick founded Campus CoPilot to offer students and families a different kind of support—one grounded in both clinical know-how and attuned mentorship. Crafted as a next-generation guide for navigating the college journey, Campus CoPilot is a comprehensive guide for navigating the emotional, social, and psychological terrain of emerging adulthood.

At the foundation of all of Nick’s work is the belief that meaningful growth begins with trust. He offers a steady, empathic presence that helps students feel seen, safe, and supported as they step into the unknown. For Nick, the transition to college is a rite of passage, though it need not be an isolated one. Rather, he and the team at Campus CoPilot see this path of development as relational, structural, and ultimately, transformational.

For over two decades, Ben Lieberman has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most meaningful—and often most challenging—transitions. With a degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, Ben has built a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological support people need to thrive during times of change. Throughout his years in healthcare, Ben noticed a pattern: young adults entering college often struggled silently with the overwhelming shift to campus life. The combination of academic pressure, social adjustment, and independence created a perfect storm that many students weren’t fully prepared to handle.

Seeing this gap inspired him to take action. Ben joined Campus CoPilot to reimagine how we support students during this critical stage of life. By blending clinical expertise with compassionate mentorship, Ben hopes to be a trusted guide for students and families navigating the college transition.

For Ben, this work is deeply personal. He believes that with the right support, every student can feel grounded, resilient, and ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.
